How I Shake It Off Poem
How I Shake It Off
When someone brings you down
And you have a frown
Don’t listen to what they say
And you will be okay
One way to help is pray
Believe in Jesus and god
Always think happy thoughts
Don’t think you are odd
When there is a problem
Just shake it off
You know what is true
So just be you
Be who you are
Don’t listen to the negatives
Not everything is true
All you have to do is be you
When someone brings you down
And you have a frown
Don’t listen to what they say
And you will be okay
One way to help is pray
Believe in Jesus and god
Always think happy thoughts
Don’t think you are odd
When there is a problem
Just shake it off
You know what is true
So just be you
Be who you are
Don’t listen to the negatives
Not everything is true
All you have to do is be you

Earth Day Prompt 1
The quote at the top of the Earth Day text means that what each of us do makes a difference to the world. The difference could be a good difference, or a bad. I think the author put that quote there, because he thought that it could help us understand more of what he is writing. The quote goes with what the author is writing about. This one quote should give a huge impact to anyone reading it. When i read this quote i realized that i have to help make this earth be healthier. The author is informing us that we all need to do something to help the earth, even just the littlest things.
Huntington Library: Chinese Garden
My favorite garden of our field trip to the Huntington Library was the Chinese Garden. The Chinese Garden was very beautiful, peaceful, calming, and fun to be in. I loved going through all the bridges. There were probably three longer bridges and a lot of little short ones. The lily pads looked really pretty in the water and I think they were the reason why the water was more of a greenish color. All the bridges were seemed very stable, because they were made of some type of amazing stone, I’m not sure what it was called. There was plenty of bamboo, it was so amazing, it really bewildered me. There was even this bridge that was in between bunches of bamboo, and it was really pretty. I also really love all the miniature structures that were kind of like un-closed tiny houses. Those structures were really nice resting places. The Chinese Garden was really a pleasure to go through, hopefully someday I could go to see it again, and maybe even other gardens.
